Vproxi

Manage browsing access with VProxi.

Vproxi allows managing the browsing options on E-Spot according to 3 options.

• Intranet allowed: this first option pertains to sites that are allowed for browsing on the local network or on local storage units. During operation, the sites that are not listed with this option checked are not allowed for browsing.

• Internet and RAS allowed: this second option concerns the sites allowed in remote networks or on the Internet. Likewise, all sites not listed are not allowed for browsing.

• Internet banned: this third option allows one to define a list of websites that are not allowed for browsing.
One can choose one of these options, or choose a combination of two options. Combinations of options are:
> Intranet allowed / Internet and RAS allowed
> Intranet allowed / Internet banned

E-Spot allows managing remote connections to various servers. The corresponding connection is automatically established and can be cut as needed. A connection is automatically cut when not used for a period defined by the administrator.
When connected to the Internet via a modem, these features are effective only after having configured a RAS port (Remote Access Service).
